Meet our upstairs loft at Odd Bird!!

From storage to a beautiful event space, she is cozy and equipped with tables, chairs, a couch, and all the good vibes for your next upcoming event! We welcome all kinds of gatherings—whether you're celebrating a birthday, hosting a baby shower, meeting with your book club, planning an office social, or just bringing friends together. The possibilities are endless!

The space is available during regular store hours: Monday 11am–7pm, Tuesday to Thursday 11am–8pm, Friday and Saturday 11am–9pm, and Sunday 12pm–7pm. After hours functions are regulated at the store's discretion, and will include extra staffing fees.

The loft will be closed off to events in October, November, and December. We use the extra upstairs space in those months to store all of our magical Christmas stock!!

Additionally, any event that is interested in booking during the peak June, July, and August months of Summer, please know that the space gets a little toasty. While the aged state of our building and the warmer weather do tend to raise the temperature in our space, we have multiple fans and alternative methods to cool the space down for events. 

Our flat rate for renting the space is $75, which secures up to 4 hours of use, and any additional time beyond that is billed at $15 per hour. When booking, please choose the time duration that best fits your event needs. Before checking out, attach an order note with your purchase requesting the day and time slot you would like your event to fill, and we can coordinate details from there. 


We have 9–10 tables, each with 2 chairs, but we're happy to arrange additional seating if needed — just let us know! Parties are also welcome to supply any additional seating and/or setup equipment.

Guests renting the space are more than welcome to bring in any outside food and beverages! We do ask that accumulated garbage is properly disposed of in the trash can upstairs. We will have the space clean for you when you arrive, so please help us keep it clean for others!!

Normally, we have our own playlist going during store hours. While we do enjoy a vast range of tunes, we like to keep the playlist in the store at a certain volume and vibe, so if music is something of interest at your event, we can negotiate. 

Just a heads-up: our upstairs event space is not wheelchair accessible, as there’s no ramp or elevator. We’re really sorry for this limitation and appreciate your understanding as we work within the quirks of our lovely building.
