After more than 1,000 submissions from YOU, our community, we finally have a name that we love. We know you will too! 

We're also bringing back the Fa-La-Loft, our Christmas sneak preview pop-up upstairs in the event space.

To thank you for your love and support, we will be hosting an ALL DAY 20% OFF SALE on all non-holiday merchandise!! (Needoh excluded, sorry).

Yes! Our store is achieving its final form (third time's a charm!). Don't worry, everything else is staying: same ownership, same staff, same merchandise, same immaculate vibes.

A LITTLE HISTORY

Originally established in 2012, our store thrived as Square Foot, selling boutique clothing and shoes (Get it? Square Foot. Selling shoes on Decatur Square. LOL). In post-pandemic 2022, the store switched hands and evolved to the cornucopia of gifts you know and love today. Odd Bird was born! 

WHY ARE YOU CHANGING THE NAME NOW?

We wanted to supercharge the store with a unique name that fully reflects who we are today. 

AND...WHO ARE YOU? 

We are a quirky, woman-owned gift shop located right outside of the Decatur Marta station in the heart of Decatur! We love being part of the local community, and the folks that pass through our doors (including the small and/or and furry) are like friends. 

Wit and whimsy are prominent themes in all the unique product lines we carry. We also host fun events from speed puzzling to stitch n' bitch to spelling bees. Even if you don't leave with a gift, you'll certainly leave with a giggle!
