At the intersection of art, nature, and geography, explore Wild World, an epic pictorial map by cartographer Anton Thomas. Rather than political or human-made boundaries, Thomas' map is defined by 1,642 hand-drawn animals—all wild, native, and living today—in their areas of habitation. "Wild World is a place that still exists; a world that can still be cared for, cherished, and protected," he says. It took three years to complete this highly detailed work, channeling his lifelong love of maps and his admiration for this diverse planet we inhabit.
